“How Do You Say Goodbye To A Building?” By Pastor Kenneth Sutton
How do you say goodbye to a church building that holds so many wonderful memories for so many of us? Doubtless many of us can attest that this is the place where we were born… again! This is where many of us were baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost! How many of us walked Into Grace Church of All Nations a sinner and walked out saved by God’s amazing grace? Our children were dedicated to the LORD here! We cannot quantify the blessings of the LORD that have been lavished upon us in this place because of the love of God that has been shed abroad in our hearts here by the Holy Ghost!
I met my wife here at Grace; and many of us were married here including… yours truly! We’ve all learned so much and been so blessed here at this Church, this building holds so many wonderful memories for so many of us! Who among us can remember when people received their deliverance in the basement of this building; the tent services and the ushers sponsored fish fries outside in the parking lot? How many of us remember seeing this hulking monstrosity which was once a night club and an A&P supermarket when we first moved into this building? How many of us can remember how this building was slowly transformed into the beautiful edifice you see today? I painted the first Church Sign that was posted on the front of the building. It read: “Grace Community Christian Center.” Some of the finest revivals in the American Northeast were held right here at 451 Washington Street featuring: Bishop Corletta Vaughan Harris with “The Survivals Are In Trouble,” Prophet Leonard Ford with “Who Told You That?” Evangelist Sandra Diehl with “Shooting the Arrow of Deliverance,” The late great Prophet and Pastor Keith Drayton with “Hungry for God” and “The Sign of The Olive leaf,” and Bishop John M. Borders Ill with “A Dove Seeking Rest” The list goes on and on of great memories which we can scarcely forget. The Word of God has been rich and plentiful here.
It’s okay to remember the good and to take those memories with us as we move on bigger and better things in the will of God! In Matthew 24:2 it reads: “And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” In the final analysis, we must realize this treasure is in earthen vessels and not in buildings or things. The best of Grace Church of all Nations goes with us as it has become part of who we are! And no matter where we go, our wonderful memories will go with us. So, as we turn the page in a new chapter in our lives and in the story of Grace Church of All of Nations, let us look back with fond remembrance, but also look we must look forward with optimism and excitement with what God is doing in our midst even as the whole world beholds it!

Our new home
Our new location, 33 Elm Hill Ave, Dorchester, Massachusetts has been our home since Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018. This new location gives us the opportunity for continued growth and evangelism in yet another community. Grace Church of All Nations is a pillar of spiritual and moral strength in the community. The ministry emphasizes the need for salvation, and the Power of the Holy Spirit for victorious living, evangelism and impacting the community, through the teaching of Christian values and outreach.
Grace Church offers an exciting and dynamic worship experience that is most likely unlike anything you have ever experienced before!
Come experience God’s GRACE every Sunday Morning at our 10:30 am Worship Service. We also invite you to join us at our Tuesday Bible Study at 7:00 pm and Friday Prayer Service at 7:00 pm. Both are powerful times of prayer, praise and worship.
Our ongoing contributions to the Building Fund is on the Second Sunday of the month.
